Tips for Serving Wine

Wine glassesStoring
: Wine should be stored in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight on its side if possible. Wine will keep for several days if corked and refrigerated.

Opening: Champagne and white wine should not be opened until just before serving. Red wine needs to "breathe" and should be opened about an hour before serving.

Glasses: Round bowl shape glasses are perfect for red wines. Tulip shaped glasses are used to serve white wine. Champagne is served in "flutes" to retain the bubbles. Dry glasses with a paper towel for maxium bubbles, air dry for less bubbles.

Serving
: Only fill the glass half full to allow the aroma to expand and develop.
